Robert J. Berney is a Florida CPA and an owner of Berney & DuBoff, CPAs. Formerly of Hirsh, Berney & Company, where he was a partner for more than fifteen years, he graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, MO with a BSBA, as well as an MBA with a concentration in accounting. He received much of his early accounting, audit and tax training while working for Ernst & Young in Miami for five years.

John L. Abitante is a licensed CPA in Florida, New York and Oregon and a Partner of Berney & Abitante CPA's PL. formerly with Hirsh, Berney & Company where he was a senior staffer. John graduated Florida International University with a B.B.A. in accounting and Masters in Taxation in 1986 and 1995 respectively. John spent his formative years in accounting with Deloitte &Touche legacy Touche Ross before starting his own practice.
